DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
MISSION STATEMENT
To achieve excellence in Public Service providing transportation maintenance services, implementing Workforce Values seeking efficiency in planning, scheduling and positive reinforcement on support of the Pueblo of Laguna Tribal Government.
SCOPE OF WORK
The Roads & Range Program performs operation, maintenance and other related services to roadways and range projects within community and community developed areas which will include, but not limited to road maintenance (paved & un-unpaved), sand and gravel hauling, residential lot clear and grub, health and safety service calls established through the work order process. The Program will also administer the 93-638 BIA Road Maintenance Program, with a range of maintenance services as defined in the Road Maintenance Agreements.
The Roads & Range Program provides service for emergency or unplanned services as provided by Executive Order or if the requestor is in special need to address safety, health, life threatening, low income or referral, by another program/entity/agency/Mayordomos stipulating those requirements as made.
CUSTOMER SERVICES
Service requests are handled through a “Work Order” form. The requestor shall submit the Work Order, in person or electronically to the Dispatch Receptionist, located in the Public Service building. Location and contact information is provided on the Director’s Office Web page. Telephone assistance in completing the form is provided to Elderly and Special Needs persons.
