DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

MISSION STATEMENT

To achieve excellence in Public Service in providing safe and operational vehicles as well as preventive maintenance and repair services implementing Workforce Values within the program seeking efficiency and positive reinforcement on behalf of the Pueblo of Laguna Tribal Government.

SCOPE OF WORK

The Fleet Management program is responsible for scheduled routine maintenance of the Pueblo of Laguna vehicle fleet and all entities associated with the Pueblo, in which services are based on a Preventive Maintenance (PM) vehicle deficiency checklist. The services for the tribal fleet consist of oil changes and 3,000 mile service, vehicle diagnosing, welding repairs, component removal, electrical wiring repair, and miscellaneous repairs.

The Fleet Management Program is responsible for the servicing of 265+ light duty vehicles and 25+ heavy equipment.

CUSTOMER SERVICES

The Fleet Management Program provides the following services:

  • Preventive Maintenance program for all POL Tribal vehicles
  • Manage Tribal vehicle pool

 

SERVICE REQUESTS

All service requests are handled through a Fleet Management “Work Order Form”.  The requestor shall submit the Work Order -CLICK HERE- in person or electronically to the Fleet Manager’s office located at the Fleet Maintenance Building or contact electronically at  fleetcoordinator@pol-nsn.gov.  Location and contact information is provided on the Public Works Director’s Office Web page.

GARAGE PROGRAM RESTRICTIONS

Services and repairs are limited to the Tribal Government and certain tribal Entities vehicle fleet.
