Mission

“Laguna Social Services Program is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and overall wellbeing for the Laguna people by providing applicable and multi-cultural services.”

The Pueblo of Laguna Social Services program provides direct services to Children, Families and Elderly of Laguna tribal members and other Native Americans residing on reservation within the service unit area.  Pueblo of Laguna individuals are entitled to receive high quality social work services that acknowledge and respect the unique culture, history, values, and native healing systems of Indian persons, families, and communities.  The family is the primary care-giving system in any society.  Therefore, the Pueblo of Laguna Social Services is committed to supporting and preserving the integrity and maintenance of our pueblo families through the implementation of services specific to Child Welfare & Protection, Adult Protection, Foster Care, Crisis Intervention, Individual Indian Monies assessment and evaluation and Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA).  For further information, please contact the Laguna Social Services Program at (505) 552-9712, from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday thru Friday.
